Quality & Engagement Manager - Extra Care Scheme

Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role
Are you a confident and passionate care professional looking for your next step in leadership? Do you thrive in resident-facing roles where you can make a real impact? A well-established provider is seeking an Engagement and Quality Manager for a large extra care service in Feltham. This is a newly created role designed to enhance resident well-being and improve service quality following a recent period of change.
This is a rewarding and hands-on role with a balance of resident engagement (70%) and quality improvement (30%). You’ll be responsible for creating a positive culture, leading activities and community initiatives, and ensuring the service meets key care standards.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and deliver resident-led activities, events, and engagement initiatives

Build strong relationships with residents, families, and professionals

Support quality improvement efforts through audits, surveys, and feedback

Identify service gaps and implement proactive solutions to enhance care and engagement

Monitor performance against regulatory and internal standards

Support the Registered Manager in delivering person-centred, high-quality care

Promote the scheme as a hub for community inclusion and involvement
What We’re Looking For
Experience:

Previous experience in care settings such as domiciliary care, extra care, supported living, or residential care

Leadership experience (e.g., Team Leader, Deputy Manager, Care Coordinator)

Strong knowledge of CQC standards and quality frameworks
Skills:

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to engage and motivate residents and staff

Strong organisational and planning abilities

Confident working independently and taking initiative

Creative and proactive in developing engagement activities
