Job Title: Registered Manager – Domiciliary & Extra-Care Services
Location: Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire
Salary: £38,556/year + Quarterly Bonus (10%)
About the Service
New extra care housing scheme: 60 flats, modern apartments offering independent living with 24/7 care and emergency response.
On-site care provider working collaboratively with housing partner.
Facilities include communal lounge, café/bistro, garden, assisted bathing, and amenities to support social and wellbeing engagement.
What You’ll Do
Be accountable as the Registered Manager for both sites; ensure staff rotas, care quality, CQC compliance.
Manage referrals, admissions, and service demand growth efficiently.
Lead the staff team: recruit (if needed), manage performance, address staff welfare & morale issues.
Oversee transition from an existing provider: integrate staff, mend cultural issues, embed strong leadership and care standards.
Maintain high standards of documentation, safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory compliance.
Support out-of-hours cover when required.
What We Need from You
Experience as a Registered Manager in domiciliary care; extra care or similar model preferred.
Strong track record with change management, staff integration, and culture building.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Able to operate commercially: understanding budgets, growth forecasts, managing resources.
Resilient and flexible to manage challenges typical in new service build-ups.
