Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care

Compass Associates are working with an established domiciliary care provider to recruit a Registered Manager for their Walsall service.
This could suit either an experienced Registered Manager looking for their next opportunity or a strong Care Manager / Deputy Manager from a larger domiciliary care service who is ready to step into registration.
We are looking for someone with:
Strong experience within domiciliary care / home care
Previous experience managing or supporting the management of a busy care service
Good knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and quality
Strong people-management and leadership skills
Experience working with Care Coordinators, Field Care Supervisors and care teams
A practical understanding of rotas, staffing, safeguarding and day-to-day service delivery
You may currently be:
A Registered Manager who has managed approximately 500 - 1,500 care hours per week
An experienced Care Manager / Deputy Manager within a larger domiciliary care branch looking for your first Registered Manager position
Location & Travel
The role is based in Walsall and would suit candidates living within approximately 45 minutes' drive, including:
Walsall, Aldridge, Brownhills, Cannock, Burntwood, Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Great Barr, West Bromwich, Wednesbury, Wolverhampton, Willenhall, Bilston, Dudley and Tamworth.
This is a branch-based operational position, with some local travel across the service area expected.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of an established Walsall homecare service.
Responsibilities will include:
Leading the branch and wider care team
Maintaining strong CQC and compliance standards
Managing the Care Coordinators and Field Care Supervisors
Ensuring care packages are delivered safely and effectively
Monitoring staffing, rotas and service capacity
Managing safeguarding, complaints and operational issues
Developing the team and maintaining clear accountability
Working closely with senior operational leadership across the wider business
The service is already established and has a good level of branch support in place, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a manageable domiciliary care operation.
Package
£40,000-£42,000 salary
Established service of approximately 1,000 care hours per week
