Home Manager – Family-Run Nursing Home

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + Performance Bonus

The Role
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a small nursing service that supports older adults and individuals living with dementia. This includes a stable clinical team, including experienced registered nurses, and a highly committed group of carers.
The role is focused on strengthening quality, embedding consistent standards, and continuing to build a positive, open culture. You will be visible, approachable and confident in leading by example, the kind of manager who builds trust quickly with residents, families and staff and brings a good source of energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop a small, dedicated team.
- Maintain full compliance and continually drive improvements in quality and safety.
- Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, professionals and the wider community.
- Ensure high standards of nursing and dementia care are consistently delivered.
- Manage staffing, training, clinical oversight and operational performance.
- Protect and enhance the warm, homely culture that families value.
Who You Are
- An experienced Home Manager with a background in nursing or dementia care.
- Confident with CQC standards and experienced in driving quality improvements.
- Hands-on, visible and comfortable managing a small, close-knit team.
- Values-led, compassionate and committed to delivering safe, person-centred care.
- Able to balance clinical oversight with commercial and operational responsibilities.
