The Role
Compass Associates are pleased to be working with a care provider operating a successful portfolio of care homes across the UK, with a strong senior management structure placing an emphasis on learning and development. They are now seeking a seasoned manager to join a care home located in Blyth.
This role joins a service providing nursing, residential and dementia care to elderly residents. The home requires a turnaround but has great potential under the right leadership moving forward. The new manager will put an emphasis on strengthening community links, assessing areas of quality and ensuring all compliance is met across the board.
They’ll look to market the home to drive occupancy and work closely with their team to improve person-centred care for their residents.
The Candidate
You'll hold a background of managing elderly nursing homes with a real flair for staff development and support, ensuring all training remains up to date and your team feel valued. As a leader, you'll motivate from the front and ensure you're a central figure within the home, a face everybody recognizes. Resident care will be at the forefront of your mind, striving for excellent care and an attention to detail around person-centred care - creating a safe & happy environment.
Knowledge of electric care planning and a strong business acumen is ideal for success within the role.

The role is commutable from: Blyth, Bedlington, Cramlington, Whitley Bay, Gosforth, Morpeth, Ponteland and Wallsend.
