Role:
We are seeking a high-calibre clinical leader to take operational control of a boutique, 25-bed specialist nursing and residential home in Leeds. The service is dedicated to supporting adults living with complex, degenerative neurological conditions across all stages of the disease, from early-onset conditions through to advanced neurological needs and palliative/end-of-life care.
As the Registered Manager, you will lead a dedicated team to inject fresh energy, direction, and long-term stability into the home. Your focus will be to strengthen quality governance, drive high professional standards, and build highly credible relationships with local commissioners, regulators, and residents' families. This position offers a direct line of report to an engaged divisional leadership team and commands a premium weekly fee structure reflecting its high-acuity care specialisation.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must hold an active NMC PIN (RGN or RMN) or HCPC registration.
- A minimum of 3 years' proven experience as a Registered Home Manager, with a strong track record of leading clinical teams in complex care, neuro-disability, or high-dependency nursing environments.
- A robust understanding of CQC inspection frameworks and a history of maintaining compliance or managing successful inspections / service transformations.
- A visible, approachable, and resilient leader with high emotional intelligence who can drive staff accountability while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Process:
The selection process will involve an initial confidential screening with Compass Associates, followed by a formal two-stage interview process with the regional and divisional leadership teams. (An enhanced DBS and professional PIN check will be required prior to appointment).
