Registered Home Manager | Small Elderly Residential & Dementia Care Home
Stevenage
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Benefits
Are you an experienced Home Manager looking for the opportunity to lead a small, well-established care home?
Are you a strong coach and mentor who enjoys developing staff and creating a positive, high-performing team?
Do you have experience within elderly and dementia care and the ability to maintain strong quality and compliance standards?
Then this could be the position for you!
We are working with an established and values-led elderly care provider seeking a Registered Home Manager to lead a small residential care home in Hertfordshire.
The home provides care and support for older people, including those living with dementia. Following a period of significant improvement, the service is now in a strong position, with robust quality assurance systems in place, a stable staff team and consistently high occupancy.
The incoming Home Manager will therefore not be inheriting a traditional turnaround situation. Instead, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a well-positioned service and maintain the positive progress that has already been achieved.
A key focus of the role will be maintaining strong standards whilst continuing to develop and mentor the team. The home has a combination of experienced staff and individuals who are earlier in their development, meaning the successful candidate will need to be a confident coach, a clear communicator and a fair but accountable leader.
This role would suit either an experienced Registered Home Manager looking to manage a smaller service, or a strong Deputy Manager who is genuinely ready to take the next step into a registered management position.
