Registered Manager – Brand New Domiciliary Care Service
Location: Manchester
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 per annum
Additional Earnings: Quarterly incentive scheme (up to £8,000 per year)

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with an established and growing domiciliary care provider to recruit an experienced Registered Manager for the launch of a brand-new Manchester branch.

While the Manchester branch is new, the organisation behind it is well-established and growing, currently operating:
Multiple established branches
Services across several local authorities
Over 5,500 hours of care delivered per week
A workforce of 300+ employees

The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will have full ownership of the Manchester service, combining strategic leadership with hands-on operational management.
You will be responsible for:
Launching and developing a brand-new domiciliary care service
Recruiting, leading and inspiring care and office-based teams
Registering with CQC and maintaining ongoing compliance
Acting as the senior representative with commissioners and external stakeholders
Supporting service growth and identifying new opportunities
Completing client assessments, reviews and staff competency checks
Ensuring training, supervision and development are always up to date
Driving quality, governance and performance standards
Creating a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture
Engaging with the local community and attending networking events
This is a highly visible leadership role where your decisions will directly shape the service and the lives of people receiving care.

About You
We are looking for a Registered Manager who combines experience with genuine passion for social care.
Essential requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience within domiciliary care
Previous experience as a Registered Manager
Eligible to register with CQC
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Confident communicator, able to represent the service externally
Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions
Full UK Driving Licence
