Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a new opportunity within a specialist outpatient environment?
We are working with an established independent healthcare provider in East Grinstead to recruit a Registered Nurse – Outpatients.
You will join a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care to patients attending a variety of outpatient clinics and consultations.
THE ROLE
As an Outpatients Nurse, you will support patients throughout their outpatient journey while working closely with consultants and the wider clinical team.
Responsibilities will include:
Assessing, planning and delivering individualised patient care
Supporting patients attending outpatient consultations and procedures
Working closely with consultants and multidisciplinary teams
Providing clinical advice, education and reassurance to patients and families
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Supporting infection prevention, patient safety and clinical governance
Contributing to audits and quality improvement initiatives
Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues and new starters
Helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department
ABOUT YOU
You will be an NMC Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience and a strong patient-focused approach.
We are looking for someone with:
Active NMC registration
Good general clinical nursing experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisation and time management
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to high standards of patient care
Interest in continued professional development
Previous Outpatients, Day Surgery, Pre-Assessment or other ambulatory clinical experience would be advantageous, although it is not essential
