We are recruiting for a sixth RVN to join a small animal & exotics practice based in Beckenham.

 

The Job:

 

This is a full time, permanent RVN role working 30 hours per week between 08:00-20:00 with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, no OOH or on call.

This is a multidisciplinary role where you will have a real mix of duties from front of house & consulting; surgical preparation and treatment; schedule 3s, inpatient care; SVN development and health checks. We are happy to help negotiate biases in your daily caseload to support further CPD and interests. You

 

The Practice:

 

We have been long-established in South London for over 20 years and have a fantastic reputation amongst clients-  evidenced by our repeat business through word of mouth, referrals and Google Reviews! The practice currently has 5 nurses and 8 vets, well supported by our client and animal care teams. Experience across is very broad and include vets with surgical certificates, Clinical Coaches and EMS placements plus new graduates.

 

We are proud to be able to offer clients a real one stop shop for most of the veterinary care a client needs. We have multiple consulting and operating rooms, a brilliant diagnostics suite with X-ray and ultrasound machines that are truly state-of-the-art, and large laboratory and ward spaces. The incredible clinical skill and customer service training all or staff receive mean our clients love using us for anything from complex ophthalmic surgery, quick consults and health checks or follow up diagnostics.

 

The Candidate:

  • A qualified, Registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Good clinical skills with exposure to first opinion work – referral experience is a plus but not a requirement
  • Strong belief in veterinary independence, passion for development, and kind-hearted approach.
