We are seeking an experienced and confident Home Manager to lead a Medium sized elderly residential and dementia care home in the Slough area.

The provider is heavily focused on improving their services, facilities, and staff development.
The organisation has a strong focus on internal progression, leadership development, and structured training programmes. Managers are supported by an experienced operational team and benefit from established governance frameworks, centralised support functions, and peer collaboration across the wider group.

This is not a turnaround project. The home is stable, with consistent occupancy and relatively low recruitment pressures. The focus will be on maintaining standards, embedding best practice, and delivering gradual, continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full operational leadership of the home
- Maintain regulatory compliance and inspection readiness
- Lead, develop and support the existing staff team
- Work collaboratively with your Deputy to ensure effective day-to-day oversight
- Maintain occupancy and financial performance
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families and external stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Registered Home Manager within elderly care
- Strong leadership background
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent) preferred
- Demonstrable track record of regulatory compliance
- Stable career history
- Calm, organised and consistent leadership style
Candidates from residential, nursing, domiciliary or broader adult social care backgrounds will be considered, provided they can clearly demonstrate transferable experience.
Working Pattern & Package
- 37.5 hours per week
- Typically Monday to Friday (9–5 style), with flexibility depending on service needs
- On-call responsibilities as part of the role
- £65,000 per annum
