This leading nationwide cosmetic surgery provider are currently in search for an experienced Nurse / RGN to join their team in their Central London Clinic for pre and non-immediate post operative care. They specialise in cosmetic surgical procedures for face, body and breast.

The Role:

The successful nurse / RGN will work as part of their highly specialised Nursing team to provide effective and patient focused care, ensuring the smooth running of the clinic. Your patients will have a variety of cosmetic procedures including Breast Enlargements, Breast Reconstruction, Liposuction, Tummy Tuck, Rhinoplasty and more!

You will have a number of duties which includes conducting pre-operative care to patients undergoing cosmetic procedures to ensure they are fit for surgery, post-operative check-ins, patient education, taking bloods, wound care, in addition to clinical governance duties. You will be working closely with the Nurse Manager, and she will ensure you feel fully supported in your position.       

Working hours:

• Some home working available dependent on business needs.
• This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, which will be worked across days only.
• The majority of shifts will be 09:30-17.30, but they do require typically one later shift per week which is 12:00-20:00 or 11:00 to 19:00. You will also be required to work 2 weekend days per month (meaning you will work one full weekend or 1 day across 2 weekends).
• You will always have your rota at least 2 months in advance to ensure you are able to plan and manage your personal life, offering great work-life balance!    
• Once you are confident in the role, you will be given the option to take on the emergency on-call phone. This is completely optional, but if opted in, offers you the opportunity to earn some extra money!        

What can you bring:            

• RGN with active NMC registration       
• Previous experience in a surgical setting  - cosmetic experience is not essential
• Confident in wound care and phlebotomy      
• Interest in cosmetic nursing
