Compass Associates is proud to partner with a leading private neuro rehabilitation centre in Birmingham, renowned for transforming the lives of individuals with brain injuries. With state-of-the-art therapy suites, dedicated assessment rooms, and cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment, the centre sets a high standard for exceptional patient care.

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to become a key part of this multidisciplinary team. You will collaborate closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, nurses, speech and language therapists, and consultants. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape support in a rehabilitation centre that champions personalised, evidence-based rehabilitation. You’ll be the sole Psychologist onsite, with full support from our outgoing Lead. 

Key Responsibilities

• 75% clinical delivery and 25% service development
• Deliver expert psychological assessment and intervention for patients with neurological, psychological, and physical health conditions
• Apply advanced knowledge of neuropsychological, cognitive, behavioural, and systemic models to inform treatment
• Ensuring safe, evidence-based, and patient-focused practice within the service

Requirements

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology recognised by the HCPC
• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical)
• Significant post-qualification experience in neuropsychology, complex rehabilitation, or physical health settings
• Expertise in neuropsychological assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, and therapeutic approaches (e.g. CBT, ACT, systemic)
