Overview
Compass Associates is proud to be working in partnership with a growing provider of complex care at home services, who are seeking a Business Development Manager to support their continued growth across Southern England.

Delivering nurse-led complex care packages for adults and children with significant healthcare needs, including individuals requiring tracheostomy, ventilator and other specialist clinical support, the organisation is now entering an exciting period of growth.
Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, strengthening existing relationships and supporting the organisation’s commercial growth strategy across the region.
You will be joining at an important stage of the organisation’s journey, with the opportunity to help shape the future direction of the service whilst ensuring growth remains aligned with the quality of care and values that underpin the business.
Role Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Southern England region
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, case managers, healthcare professionals and private sector partners
- Manage and grow existing relationships whilst proactively identifying new opportunities
- Develop referral networks and increase awareness of specialist complex care services
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure opportunities are converted effectively
- Support the growth of private and public sector business opportunities
- Attend meetings, networking events and industry forums to strengthen market presence
- Develop relationships with case managers and key stakeholders within the complex care market
- Contribute to commercial strategy, revenue growth and business development planning
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities and activity through CRM systems
Work Pattern
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Flexible working approach with a requirement to be proactive, visible and relationship-focused within the region, mixture of working from home, travelling in the community and the offices.
Requirements
Experience within business development, sales or relationship management within Specialist Services (essential)
Strong understanding of complex care, healthcare at home or specialist care services
Experience developing relationships with private sector clients (essential)
Exposure to public sector commissioning, local authorities, ICBs or healthcare partnerships desirable
Experience engaging with Medico Legal Case Managers would be highly advantageous
Commercially minded with the ability to discuss growth, revenue and opportunities
Strong communication and influencing skills
Resilient, self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
Salary & Benefits
£50,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)
Bonus scheme linked to revenue targets
Travel expenses covered
