Advanced Clinical Practitioner – Urgent Care 

Bracknell | Up to £60,000 FTE + Unsocial Hours | Part-Time

 

My client is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join their multidisciplinary team in a busy Urgent Care Centre located in Bracknell. This part-time role (approx. 20 hours/week) offers a stimulating and supportive environment, ideal for clinicians looking to further their practice and development.

 

 Role Overview

  • Work autonomously within a defined scope to assess, diagnose, and plan care for patients presenting with acute, undifferentiated clinical needs.

  • Prescribe medications if qualified and clinically indicated.

  • Manage minor illness/injury caseloads and streamline patient care across services.

  • Collaborate with a team of GPs, ANPs, and nurses, contributing to continuous service improvement and clinical governance.

 Essential Requirements

  • Registered as a First-Level Nurse (NMC, ECP) or qualified ACP.

  • Hold or be studying towards an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, or equivalent postgraduate training in health assessment, decision making, minor illness/injury, etc.

  • Approved Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.

  • Acute or urgent/emergency care experience with undifferentiated patient presentations.

  • Strong autonomous clinical decision-making skills and triage capability.

  • Eligibility for DBS clearance and commitment to ongoing professional development.
