Business Consultant – Franchise Network Support
Location: Hybrid – National travel with 2 days per week in Warrington office
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + £4,000 car allowance + bonus (up to 15%)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant to manage and develop a portfolio of franchise offices across the UK. This is a high-impact role, combining operational support, business growth, and strategic guidance to ensure each franchise achieves sustainable profitability.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to influence business owners to adopt best practice and deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of approximately 35 franchise businesses, tailoring support to their stage of growth.

Provide strategic and operational guidance to improve performance, efficiency, and profitability.

Analyse financial data including profit and loss, cash flow, and forecasts, recommending actions to maximise results.

Deliver sales coaching, growth strategies, and client acquisition plans.

Lead business planning sessions and monitor progress against agreed targets.

Facilitate workshops, peer learning sessions, and best practice sharing.

Identify underperforming locations and implement performance recovery plans.

Build strong, professional relationships with franchise owners, acting as a trusted advisor and constructive challenger.

Ensure compliance with brand standards and service quality requirements.

Represent franchise owners’ needs to the central leadership team.
Skills & Experience
Essential:

Proven experience in multi-site or portfolio business management.

Strong commercial skills, with a track record of driving business growth.

Financial management capability (P&L, forecasting, KPIs).

Exceptional communication, coaching, and influencing skills.

Ability to have challenging conversations and gain buy-in from business owners.
Desirable:

Franchising experience.

Operational leadership in service-based or care sector environments.

Knowledge of private client acquisition and retention strategies.
Package & Benefits

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 (negotiable for exceptional experience).

£4,000 annual car allowance.

Bonus up to 15% based on company and personal performance.

Total OTE potential: £60,000+.

Hybrid working with national travel and overnight stays where required.
Working Pattern

2 days per week in Warrington office (Monday & Tuesday).

Remaining days working from home or visiting franchise locations.
