Location: Tonbridge, Kent
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Contracted Hours: 42.5 hours per week | Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 5:30pm

Compass Associates are delighted to be partnering with a well-established live-in care provider in the recruitment of an experienced Care Coordinator for their Head Office based in Tonbridge.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care through effective coordination and workforce planning. Working as part of an experienced operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring clients receive a seamless, high-quality service whilst supporting carers throughout their placements.

About the Role

As a Care Coordinator, you will:

  • Coordinate live-in care packages across the business.
  • Match carers to clients based on skills, experience, personality and care requirements.
  • Manage carer schedules and workforce planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Build positive relationships with clients, families and carers.
  • Respond promptly to changes in care requirements and staffing availability.
  • Support carers throughout their placements, providing regular communication and guidance.
  • Work closely with the wider operations team to ensure the smooth delivery of care services.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling and client records using internal systems.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule live-in carers to ensure all care packages remain fully staffed.
  • Match carers to clients based on experience, preferences and individual care needs.
  • Proactively manage rotas and workforce planning to maintain continuity of care.
  • Arrange emergency cover and respond efficiently to last-minute changes.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, families and carers.
  • Support carers throughout their placements and maintain regular communication.
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM and scheduling systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, GDPR and CQC requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and continuously improve the customer experience.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Care Coordinator within domiciliary or live-in care.
  • Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and scheduling or CRM systems.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and high-quality care.
