The Role
Compass Associates are delighted to be partnering with an established care provider to recruit a Clinical Deputy Manager for an elderly nursing and dementia care home in Fife.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinical care professional to join an established service, working closely with the Home Manager to provide day-to-day leadership and support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
The successful Clinical Deputy Manager will play a key role across clinical governance, regulatory compliance and quality standards, helping to ensure the home continues to provide a safe, caring and supportive environment for residents.
The Clinical Deputy Manager will have responsibility across care planning, medication management, clinical audits, staff supervision and development, quality assurance and continuous improvement. You will also support the effective deployment of the team and use of resources, whilst deputising for the Home Manager when required.
Candidate
The ideal Clinical Deputy Manager will be an experienced registered nurse with a strong background in elderly care and a good understanding of the clinical, regulatory and operational requirements of a care home environment.
They will be an approachable and compassionate leader, with the confidence to support and develop colleagues, maintain high standards of person-centred care and work closely with the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service.
The successful Clinical Deputy Manager will have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality, continuous improvement and delivering positive outcomes for residents.
Requirements
- Relevant management qualification or willingness to undertake one
- Strong understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory compliance
- Active NMC registration
- Experience working within a relevant health and social care setting
- Previous leadership experience within a care setting is desirable
- Confident leadership and people-management skills
- Hold a relevant professional qualification
