Nursing Home Manager | Elderly Care

Salary: £75,000 per annum (plus performance bonus)

The Role
Compass Associates are proud to be working with a well-established elderly care provider, who operate a medium to large nursing home offering nursing, nursing dementia, residential and dementia care. They are currently seeking an established manager to support the ongoing development and performance of the service.
This role will focus on driving quality, compliance and commercial success within the home. The Registered Manager will take a hands-on approach to mentoring and developing the staff team, ensuring high standards of care delivery are consistently achieved.
You will play a key role in strengthening governance processes, improving outcomes in line with CQC expectations and building strong relationships with residents, families and external professionals. A proactive mindset will be essential, particularly in identifying areas for improvement across occupancy, staffing and overall service performance.
Candidate
The successful candidate will come from a clinical background or have prior experience managing a nursing home, with a real passion for delivering tailored care.
You will bring a proven track record of troubleshooting underperforming services, including improving CQC ratings, increasing occupancy and developing strong local authority relationships. Experience in improving staff retention and building a positive team culture will be highly valued.
