The Role
Compass Associates are pleased to be partnering with a highly regarded care provider who operate a portfolio of elderly care homes across England, delivering general nursing, nursing dementia, residential and dementia care to elderly residents.
Due to continued growth and investment, they are seeking an experienced Peripatetic Manager to support a portfolio of services located around the North-East. This is a strategic role, focused on stabilising services, driving quality improvement, supporting Home Managers, and stepping in to lead services in the absence of a Registered Manager. This position will suit a dynamic and resilient leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys making tangible improvements to care quality, compliance, culture and performance.
Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced care home leader with a strong track record of achieving positive CQC outcomes, ideally within challenged or underperforming services. You will bring a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, safeguarding, and best practice care delivery.
You’ll be confident operating across multiple sites, providing hands-on operational leadership, coaching and mentoring Home Managers, embedding strong governance processes, and implementing sustainable improvement plans. We are seeking a visible, inspirational and commercially astute leader who can quickly assess risk, build high-performing teams, and create a culture of accountability, quality and continuous improvement.

The role is commutable from: Newcastle, Consett, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, Barnard Castle, Hartlepool, Darlington, Stockton-on-Tees and Redcar.
