Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care 

Salary: Up to £39,000 per year + bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
On-call: 1 in 4 weeks (£300 enhancement)
Location: Bury St Edmunds

 

About the Role

 A confidential, well-established domiciliary care provider is seeking an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager to lead and grow a stable local branch. This role suits a driven home care professional who has a strong background in private-pay growth, community engagement and branch development. Compliance is strong, internal processes are well-embedded, and the service has a long-standing reputation for quality. This is a rare opportunity to step into a well-run branch with no major challenges, excellent team culture, and full support from senior leadership. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and develop the branch team, ensuring safe and high-quality care delivery.

  • Drive business growth through private client acquisition, community outreach, networking and marketing activity.

  • Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, local organisations and referral sources.

  • Maintain high levels of compliance, CQC readiness and quality assurance.

  • Oversee service performance, staffing, scheduling, and risk management.

  • Ensure the branch meets weekly hours, assessments, customer satisfaction and business KPIs.

  • Deliver excellent customer service and a person-centred approach to care.

  • Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 4).

  • Experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready for the next step

  • Proven success in growing private-pay home care services

  • Strong business development and community engagement skills

  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance

  • Confident leader with excellent communication and people-management skills

  • Highly motivated, energetic and ready to build a thriving branch
