The Role
Compass Associates are delighted to be partnering with a respected care provider in the search for a Registered Home Manager for their residential and dementia care home in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional to lead an established service dedicated to delivering exceptional person-centred care to older adults.
The Registered Home Manager will be supported internally by a Deputy Manager and Regional Manager, along with a committed senior management team to ensure the home continues to maintain regulatory compliance and help drive continuous improvement.
Candidate
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Registered Home Manager within an elderly care setting, with a strong understanding of the regulatory and operational requirements associated with running a successful care home. An NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) is desirable, although experienced candidates working towards this qualification will also be considered.
You will be a confident and compassionate leader, capable of motivating and developing a dedicated team while maintaining high standards of care and compliance throughout the service. The ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external stakeholders will be essential, alongside a genuine passion for delivering person-centred care to older people.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, with experience overseeing quality assurance, safeguarding, staff development, and occupancy. You will be commercially aware, proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement, and committed to creating a positive culture that enables both residents and colleagues to thrive.
