Salary: From £20.25 per hour + Paid Breaks (Annual Earnings circa £44,226)
Contracted Hours: 42 hours per week (8:00pm – 8:00am shifts)

Compass Associates are delighted to be working in partnership with a highly regarded elderly care provider to recruit a Registered Nurse (RGN) for a nursing home located in Chester, Cheshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered General Nurse to join a well-established provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care within a supportive and professional environment.
The home delivers exceptional elderly nursing care and has developed an excellent reputation for maintaining high clinical standards while ensuring residents receive compassionate and dignified support.
Working alongside an experienced clinical team, you will play an integral role in providing outstanding nursing care throughout the night and supporting the continued delivery of excellent clinical outcomes.

Role Responsibilities
Deliver safe and effective nursing care to elderly residents
Administer medications safely in accordance with NMC guidelines
Complete and maintain accurate care plans and clinical records
Monitor residents' health and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Work collaboratively with the wider nursing and care teams
Promote dignity, independence and person-centred care
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and best practice
Support and mentor care staff where required
Maintain a safe, positive and professional clinical environment
Shift Pattern
8:00pm – 8:00am night shifts
42 contracted hours per week
4 shifts week one / 3 shifts week two
Alternate weekends required
Paid breaks included
Additional hours paid at an enhanced bank rate (+10%)

Requirements
Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
Minimum of 4 years' experience working within a UK care home
Strong elderly care experience
Confident with medication administration and clinical decision-making
Experience producing accurate care plans and clinical documentation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, compassionate and resident-focused approach
Unfortunately, newly qualified nurses or nurses with solely bank or agency experience cannot be considered
