Senior Nurse – Elderly Care Home – NMC Pin Essential

Location: Cromer, Norfolk

Salary: £38,675.52 – £41,801.76 per annum (DOE)

Contracted Hours: 37.5 hours per week (including 2 days supernumerary)

 

PLEASE NOTE: A valid and in-date NMC pin is essential for this position. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship currently.

Overview:

We are excited to be partnering with a well-established and reputable care home provider with six care homes across the UK, specialising in providing outstanding short- and long-term care for serving and ex-Service personnel and their dependants.

They are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Nurse to join their dedicated team on a full-time, permanent basis at their elderly nursing home located in Cromer, Norfolk.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about delivering exceptional care to older adults in a supportive, team-focused environment.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing team
  • Ensure high standards of personalised care in line with individual care plans
  • Oversee medication administration and clinical procedures
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory bodies and internal quality standards
  • Support and mentor junior staff and contribute to ongoing staff development
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents’ families and external health professionals

 

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Nurse (Adult) – RGN or RMN
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership role within an elderly nursing home
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (8am – 8pm)

Cromer, Norwich, North Walsham, Sheringham, Aylsham, Holt, Fakenham, Great Yarmouth, and surrounding areas.
