This leading hospital offers a full range of surgeries including Orthopaedics, Cosmetics, Cardiac, Oncology, Gynaecology and Urology.
This is more than a deputy role. It’s an opportunity to step into a visible, high-impact leadership position within a flagship hospital where new initiatives, equipment and innovations are often piloted first.

- Lead, motivate and develop a large multidisciplinary team
- Ensure safe, efficient, patient-centred care across a complex surgical environment
- Contribute to workforce optimisation initiatives shaping the future model of care
This is a ward that works hard. It’s busy, dynamic, and requires a leader who can see the bigger picture while remaining clinically grounded.

You do not need decades of management experience. Strong senior nurses ready to step into leadership are encouraged to apply.

The Ward Manager is actively advocating for reinstating a second Deputy Ward Manager position. A successful appointment here could support restoring the two-deputy leadership structure — creating future progression opportunities.
