Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality PET/CT and SPECT/CT imaging procedures.

  • Preparing, administering and safely handling radiopharmaceuticals.

  • Supporting the development of theranostics and radionuclide therapy services.

  • Ensuring excellent standards of patient care, radiation protection and clinical safety.

  • Contributing to quality assurance, equipment testing and service improvement.

  • Working collaboratively with clinicians and the wider multidisciplinary team.

  • Helping establish and develop a new Nuclear Medicine service.

The Candidate

We are interested in hearing from experienced Nuclear Medicine Radiographers and Technologists who are enthusiastic about taking the next step in their careers.

Ideally, you will demonstrate:

  • A relevant qualification in Nuclear Medicine or Radiography, alongside appropriate professional registration.

  • Significant UK-based Nuclear Medicine experience.

  • Experience with both PET/CT and SPECT/CT imaging.

  • Competence in cannulation, venepuncture and radiopharmaceutical administration.

  • Good understanding of radiation protection, IR(ME)R and relevant clinical governance requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centred care.

  • Confidence working autonomously, with a proactive and positive approach to service development.

Previous experience in theranostics, radionuclide therapies or leadership would be advantageous, although not essential.

Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, enjoys taking ownership of their work and would relish the opportunity to contribute to a growing specialist service.
