Compass Associates were engaged by a leading private equity backed Mental Health provider to recruit a Medical Director for the business.
A well-respected Mental Health provider was looking to make a replacement hire for a Medical Director, and as such had an urgent requirement to fill the incumbent’s vacant role.
Compass Associates have a long-standing relationship with the Chief Medical Officer and had supported them on a number of key clinical appointments over a long and valued relationship. As a result, the CMO knew that the Specialist Care division had a very clear understanding of the business, the types of candidate profile who fitted seamlessly into the company and could be trusted to deliver.
The client was looking to recruit a Medical Director with Consultant experience and be able to handle multiple caseloads. Equally, the successful candidate would need to be a driven, and thorough individual who would fit well into the senior leadership team.
The two-stage process conducted between the client and Compass Associates saw seven CVs submitted for review, resulting in five interview requests. The successful candidate was identified in the initial tranche of candidates submitted, and the appointment was made first time.
