Job Title: Ward Manager – Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit
Salary: £44,375 - £50,329 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Gosport, Hampshire – On-site
Qualifications: RMN with inpatient experience, including leadership/management responsibilities

Overview:
Compass Associates is excited to partner with a renowned mental health provider to recruit a Ward Manager for their Rehabilitation and Recovery unit. This unit focuses on providing exceptional care to men with mental health conditions, helping them move towards independence. With 28 beds across two wards, you will be leading an enthusiastic and skilled team, providing both leadership and clinical input to enhance patient care. The unit is situated in a vibrant area, offering proximity to beaches and the New Forest, combining a peaceful environment with access to excellent amenities.
As Ward Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the two wards, lead a dedicated team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will also have the chance to develop your leadership skills while staying actively involved in clinical practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on both your team and the patients in your care.
What We’re Looking For:
- RMN with inpatient experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.
- A passion for mental health rehabilitation and supporting patients in their recovery journey.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, support, and develop a team.
- Experience in managing staffing, rotas, and ensuring the ward meets quality and regulatory standards.
- Ability to foster a positive and collaborative working environment within a multidisciplinary team.
